1. Introduction

Welcome to Interviu ("we," "our," or "us"). Interviu is a B2B autonomous AI technical screening platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, process, and protect your data depending on whether you are a Customer (a company using our platform to configure and run screenings) or a Candidate (an individual participating in a screening session).

2. Data We Collect

The data we collect depends on your relationship with us:

For Customers (Organisations)

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, work email, company name, and role.
  • Financial Data: Billing information and payment history. (Actual payment processing is securely handled by our third-party provider, Razorpay; we do not store full credit card details).
  • Company Context & Configuration Data: Information you provide to tailor the AI screening, including job descriptions, tech stack details, system architecture patterns, evaluation topics, and hiring expectations.
  • Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the dashboard, invite candidates, and review reports.

For Candidates

When you participate in an Interviu screening at the request of a Customer, we collect:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name and email address.
  • Session Recording Data: Audio and video (webcam) captured during the technical interview conversation.
  • Assessment Data: Voice transcripts, conversation logs, and your verbal interactions with our AI screener.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and device information to ensure platform stability and integrity.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service (Customers): To manage your account, process payments, and generate company-aware AI screenings based on your specific tech stack and architecture configurations.
  • To Conduct Screenings & Evaluate Performance (Candidates): We use AI models to process your audio and video conversation in real-time. This generates an automated evaluation report and transcript which is shared exclusively with the Customer who invited you.
  • To Improve Our Platform: We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our AI models, fix bugs, and enhance user experience.
  • Communication: To send transactional emails (e.g., interview invitations, billing receipts).

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Candidate Data: Your interview recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated reports are strictly shared only with the specific Customer (employer) who invited you to the screening. We act as a data processor on behalf of our Customers.

Service Providers: We use trusted third-party service providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and AI processing. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. For Candidate data, Customers control the retention period of their applicants' reports and recordings in their dashboard. Upon request by a Customer, or if an account is deleted, associated candidate data is permanently deleted from our servers.

6. Consent for Recording

By joining an Interviu session as a Candidate, you explicitly consent to the recording of your audio and video, and to the processing of this conversation by our AI systems for the purpose of technical evaluation. If you do not consent, you must exit the session and contact the employer who invited you.
